Description: If we have in mind the unusual atmospheric conditions in the space, it’s quite obvious that cosmonauts don’t eat regular food when they are on their trip through the space. The major trouble with eating and drinking in space is that there is no gravity, so if you let go of a piece of food in a space craft, it will drift around, not fall to the floor. It’s similar with the water because it also doesn’t stay in a cup, it floats out and hangs in the air. This may cause a real mess in the space craft so scientists had to invent special ways of packaging and eating foods, so the astronauts could stay fit, happy and healthy, during their visit of the space.
The first meals eaten in space were soft, gloopy foods similar to baby food. They were packed in tubes like toothpaste and astronauts squeezed them into their mouths!
After that appeared frozen dried food. It was cooked food quickly frozen with the water sucked out of it in a vacuum chamber. There was no water in the food at all, and many foods needed to be mixed with water to be edible. Astronauts squeezed water into the packet of food, with a water gun, to get an edible product.
After this, the process of preparing food was more developed so astronauts in NASA Apollo missions had the luxury of hot water to mix into their food to make hot meals. They could enjoy hot soup, chicken and rice, spaghetti, beef sandwiches, and even chocolate pudding.
And now, astronauts don’t have any problem with the food. Scientist did their best to make them happy and managed to work out ways to make their favorite dishes suitable for zero gravity eating. They may enjoy their favorite traditional kitchen while are in the space.

Although, you won’t prepare food for the cosmonauts but for some strange cosmic creatures. You’ll be surprised by kitchen chief’s manners; he likes everything to be cooked well and on time. Perhaps that’s what the costumers like too. There are 5 different orders that you have to complete – prepare the food and serve it at the table. You have to take care of the degree of the baked things because no one wants to eat burned meal, and your chief may throw it in the garbage,
